It's easy to wash and doesn't smell. Without lube, the silicone is a bit sticky unlike my menstrual cup which has a smoother, velvety texture (which I think I may have preferred), but with lube, it's very slick and slippery making for easy insertion but not-so-easy button pushing and handling. | Review Details: To be honest, the We-Vibe II is my first sex toy. I opted for a toy that I could use with my partner, as I think he is put off by plastic penises (but so am I - I don't need a plastic penis replica when I have a real one!). I was a little unsure about purchasing this toy, because of the price - especially since this was my first toy. But, when it got here, I was very excited to use it! I washed it, charged it, and waited for 24 hours as instructed. It didn't smell, it's easy to wash (it's waterproof and silicone - so no bacteria harbored), but the texture was a bit sticky (unlike my silicone menstrual cup, which has a smoother, more velvety texture, which I think I would have preferred). The next day, my man and I became very intimate (he had been gone for over a week), and I suggested we try it out in the midst of our passion. So, he got up, rinsed it again, lubed it up (with water based lube, since it's made from silicone), and turned it on. He gently showed it the way in, and I found that I needed a stronger vibration than the first setting. I fumbled through each setting, which took a while because the button is difficult to press when it's all slippery and ready for lovin'. I finally opted for the high, straight vibration, which was immediately pleasing to me. Without going through the mundane details, it felt great with my partner along side of it. There were a couple of issues I had while they were both in action, however. First, in missionary position, it pinched a bit. Not sure exactly how, but I felt a (slightly) painful pinching sensation. Second, in missionary position, if there is too much force or weight against the toy that is external, it's not very pleasant. That probably would have been fixed by just changing positions, but we didn't do that. Lastly, it felt better for me when there was no long thrusting, I guess I could call it. Basically, the farther out he went before he came back in, the less pleasurable. In fact, it felt great when there was no thrusting at all, just the internal pressure and the vibrations. Since then, I've used it five more times: solo, internally and externally at the same time, as well as just externally. It feels amazing by itself, but I find that if I'm using it externally, I have to take breaks and just go with manual stimulation for a little while so I don't go numb. I've also used it a couple more times during love-making, but only externally, which is just as good for me! Lastly, I used it on my partner. At first innocently asking if it felt good on certain spots, and then progressing to more than just curiosity. Combining it with oral is wonderful, no matter where you place it - try a couple different spots and find what he likes the most. Although, if it's closer to your mouth, expect a little tingly numbness. My favorite vibration modes in order are: 2 - high 5500rpm, 8 - ascend, and it’s probably a tie between 4 - wave and 5 - pulse. The vibrations are easily heard, but not distracting or loud enough to be heard from next door - unless you live in a tent, or something. The vibration power was pretty strong, not too strong, but it can get numbing on certain settings. I find that the lower powered vibrations don't do quite as much for me. All in all, I thought it was a wonderful first toy - fun to use with a partner, fun to use alone.

...I received this thing yesterday and promptly used it on myself solo...while I think I personally need a little bit of a stronger vibration (I'm tough) I discovered a little benefit no one else has commented on...if you gently squeeze this little number on your nipple(s), it will send you into orbit...Also, I brought it so work with me and it is wearable under your clothing. With a little bit of practice, you can also change the vibe status through your clothes. I spent the last half hour of work today feeling some pretty sensuous vibrations. I cannot wait to try it with a partner!
