The actual cuff part is approximately 8.75 inches long and 2 inches wide. The enclosure is Velcro which is affixed to a 1 inch wide strap that runs along the outside of the cuff. There is a rectangular metal ring that the smaller piece feeds through to latch it. There is also a d-ring that can be used to attach the cuffs to tethers. The d-ring is attached below the smaller piece of leather with two studs on each side of it. | Review Details: These cuffs feel great! The soft faux fur feels luxurious against the skin, if a bit warm at times. The Velcro holds very well. The only way I was able to get it to pull free was if I attached it at the very edge of the Velcro, which is far too loose for my wrist anyway. The d-ring is held in place wonderfully as well. I pulled very hard against it and saw no stretching or damage to the leather. The size of the d-ring makes it easy to use different kinds of tethers like rope or tethers with metal clip hooks on them. I really like these cuffs, they have definitely replaced my neoprene cuffs which I've had for a while.
