While I'm partial to the cream coloured, vanilla scented dams, I do have a soft spot in my heart for the purple berry ones as well. These dams are a good size and thickness to easily keep in place but still provide the barrier needed for oral-genital contact. The latex of these is thick enough to withstand being held in place by garter belts or by alligator clips if a no-hands method is desired. They aren't flavoured, but rather are scented. Personally I like this, but if you want a flavour too you may wish to use a complimentarily flavoured lube. | Review Details: So much of the safer sex information we hear is for application to a penis, and focus on penetrative sex. Dental dams are something oft overlooked, but they can be tres sexy and are a wonderful way of being able to engage in oral fun without worry if you aren't fluid-bonded with your partner or have reason to desire a barrier (broken skin, STI outbreaks, menstruation, oral-anal contact, quickie bathroom fun, etc.). Dental dams are also not just for oral sex on vaginas! They're a wonderful addition to rimming, and a great way to test the waters with rimming if you're not sure how you feel about the idea of it. Add a bit of lube under the dam, put it in place over the vulva or anus, and lap away! Sheer Glyde Dams are definitely my favourite too because of their size and texture.
