Matte black, with the toy pictured on the front, and a classy semi nude pic of the lovely Sasha on the side. When I opened it, there was a layer of thick foam packing the toy in place. It was packed in tightly enough that I turned the box upside down without the foam or the toy falling out! I had to use a knife to pry the top layer off to reveal the toy, and the first glimpse of it took my breath away. And not just because it’s gorgeous. This? Is a huge toy. Dear gods. I had thought that a toy marked as ‘medium’ would have been more…well, medium. It’s my own fault for not paying attention to the measurements, though. This plug is a whopping 2 inches diameter (that’s 6 1/4 inches circumference) and 3 1/2 inches of insert able length. That’s wider than any of the dildos I currently own, and the fact that it is made out of unyielding glass makes it feel even bigger. The glass is perfectly opaque black Pyrex glass, and is a spade shaped toy. The tip is fairly large, and it only gets bigger. The base of the butt plug is roughly the same diameter of the widest part of the spade, and it sat fairly comfortably between my ass cheeks during play, although I think it wouldn’t be suitable for long term wear. As with most glass toys, it can be warmed or cooled for temperature play (although I noticed that cold toys aren’t really conducive to relaxed muscles), and is compatible with any type of lube. Sterilizing it between partners is also an option, using bleach to clean the toy. | Review Details: However, never let it be said that I am a kitty to back down from a challenge. The Sasha Grey Signature Plug is a beautifully made glass toy. I give it five paws up out of five! It’s definitely not something I would recommend for beginner anal players, and I don’t see myself using it all the time, but I do enjoy having it in my collection for when I am feeling more adventurous and looking to be a bit challenged in my play. This isn’t going to be the right butt plug for everyone, but I’m glad to have it in my collection.
