These are a cute idea and pretty to look at. Not much "clamping" going on. But as nipple jewelry they are nice and would also be suitable for nipple play novices.

Terrible, Not Strong Enough

These were a big disappointment. Even with small nipples, the mechanism is not strong enough to grip. Though at the very closest, one can get a little skin pinched painfully. This is a common problem with magnets. They are either too strong or too weak and there's a very narrow window that really could be used to trap flesh usefully.
The manufacturers should have gone back to the drawing board. This is a 'nice idea', but it's just simply a fail. I'm using them to stick paper to my fridge now, they do sort of work for that. But they are not going to work on just about anyone's nipples, so don't bother.
