One side has the typical Liberator plush so it will grip all other Liberator pieces. The other side is a satin like material. It is heavier than I expected but welcomed. It is soft out of the box and becomes softer with each wash (machine washable, line dry). | Review Details: The Fascinator Throe is one of the best items my wife and I own. I'm sorry I didn't buy it sooner! It comes in many pleasing colors and the pictures on the internet are true to the actual product's color. Previously we would put towels down on the bed so we weren't sleeping in damp spots afterwards. Now we just spread the Throe either on the sheets so we can cover with the comforter in the winter or just on top of the comforter in the warmer weather. It is large enough to cover side to side on our queen bed while still leaving plenty of length. The total size of it lets you move around and change positions without worrying about you still being on it. We also use it on our couch and pretty much any where clean up will be difficult or to give a hard, cold surface a more comfortable feel. I recommend washing alone (or with other Liberator covers/throws) so you don't get lint balls. The only downside of this throw is since you should line dry it and how heavy the material is, it can take a considerable time to dry (1.5-2 days on a drying rack). This effectively takes the Throe out of the rotation for the next night...if you're lucky enough to need it again that soon!
