It's not squishy like a traditional rubber ducky. The fuzzy hat is easily removable. | Review Details: Don't let size fool you--this small duck is pretty powerful. It has one speed, and you turn it on by turning a knob at the bottom (I think other Rub My Duckies are pressed on for power, so this one is a little different). The AAA-battery hatch is a little tricky though. I am a little concerned since the hatch is plastic and I had to exert some pressure for it to close properly. However, it does seem to create a water-tight seal. I haven't extensively used mine in water, but I've had no problems so far. One cosmetic concern is the hat. It is adorable, but once you remove it (tape holds it on in the package), it never quite sits right again. This isn't a big deal, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Being a vibrator, it does emit a buzzing sound. It's not terribly loud, nor is it exceptionally quiet. It has a moderate volume. If you are looking for a discreet, cute, and small vibrator, this one will get the job done. Plus it feels great on tense muscles in the shoulders. You just can't go wrong with this one.
